Washing Soda 5kg (Sodium Carbonate)
Washing soda (sodium carbonate) is a powerful, traditional laundry booster and heavy-duty cleaner. It softens hard water, boosts detergent performance, strips grease from pots and ovens and unblocks slow drains — all from a single, inexpensive powder.
Key features
- Boosts laundry detergent and brightens dull, greyed washing
- Softens water so less detergent is needed
- Cuts through grease on stoves, extractor hoods, pots and braai grids
- Clears and deodorises drains
- Also used in pool and water-treatment to raise pH and alkalinity
Directions for use
Laundry: add 2–3 tablespoons to each load with your normal detergent. Degreasing: dissolve 100 g in 5 Litres of hot water, soak or wipe, then rinse. Drains: pour 250 g down the drain, follow with boiling water. Wear gloves — washing soda is alkaline.
Available in: 5 kg. Supplied by Max Products, Cape Town.
