Pool Acid 5L

Pool Acid 5L (Hydrochloric Acid)

Max Pool Acid is a hydrochloric acid solution used to lower the pH and total alkalinity of swimming pool water and to remove calcium scale and stubborn stains from pool surfaces. Correct pH keeps your chlorine working efficiently and prevents cloudy water, eye irritation and scaling on pool walls and equipment.

Key features

• Lowers pH and total alkalinity quickly and reliably
• Removes calcium build-up, scale and rust stains from tiles and marbelite
• Also used for acid-washing pools and cleaning brickwork and paving
• Supplied in a sturdy 5 Litre container with a childproof cap

Directions for use

Test pool water first. To lower pH, add approximately 250 ml of acid per 50 000 litres of water, walking around the pool while pouring. Allow to circulate for 4 hours and re-test. Repeat if needed. For acid-washing, dilute 1 part acid to 10 parts water.

Safety: Corrosive. Always add acid to water, never water to acid. Wear gloves and eye protection, and keep out of reach of children.
